With technology evolving by the second, it can be hard to keep with all the new changes. It has become very important to have up to date information at the drop of a hat. But how do you manage all it, while growing and running a business? You must get the right applications and, or programs on your computer, tablet, or Smartphone. Here is a list of the apps that I think entrepreneurs should use every day.
Mobile Banking App (Online Banking)
This application will give you instant access to your bank account. Some banks and credit unions offer mobile deposit and online bill pay features. Having a mobile banking application on a device or online banking setup can save you time and stress if you use it correctly. You might not have to go to your bank ever again. Need help tracking mileage, time, and receipts for projects? Expensify is your to-go app! This application allows you to track mileage by entering the figures or using the start-stop GPS function. You can literally track your mileage with the push of a button. The SmartScan option allows you to enter reimbursable expenses from receipts via your tablet, phone or computer. You take a picture of the receipt and it is stored for future use. The time entry function allows you to log your hours while a job site or service call. Expensify can create useful reports with 1 click. Want to know more, check out the website .
Are you just overwhelmed with pile of receipts, business cards, and other papers? Shoeboxed.com has solutions that remove stress and mountains of paper from your life. The application allows you to email or scan documents to a digital locker that can be transcribed by a human being for as little as $9.95 each month. You can pick the DIY plan if you want. The reality is that you probably need fewer things to do rather one more thing to do. I highly recommend picking the largest plan first for your 30 day trial, and then switching to the Lite monthly plan on day 29. Interested? Check out all the plans here.
Whether it is from Apple, Google or Microsoft, cloud storage is the cat’s meow and I love it! There are so many “start for free” options, that there is no real reason why you should not have one. I actually have two that I use on a regular basis. The beauty of cloud storage: the risk of losing your stuff is minimized. I cannot tell you how many computers and phones have crashed and burned with ALL of my stuff on it. Not mention the number of USB drives I have lost of the years. Still not convinced? Mull the idea over with this article .
