August-November 2012: Small Business Development Project-City Church
Collaborative effort with Justina M. Shaw of JustAct. Six Milwaukee residents attended an accelerated entrepreneurship and business plan course for 2 hours on a bi-weekly basis.
Resources used: US Bank's Business Plan Template, power point presentations from SCORE, The One Page Strategic Plan Book by Laura Posey, and The Art of the Start by Guy Kawaski.
Efforts involved: Over 30 hours of 1-on-1 coaching provided by Jéneen and Justina free of charge.
Results: 3 participants pitched their businesses, in a "Shark Tank" format to two representatives from US Bank, Audrey Morrow and Elizabeth Luckett. Videos are posted below. Updates on the progress of all participants will be added to the website as well.
